Consumer Codes

Consumer Codes

At Sky-House Co., we are committed to providing exceptional service and transparency throughout your home-buying journey. To ensure that you receive the highest standards, we follow established consumer codes that apply to our different developments.
The consumer code that governs your home purchase will depend on the development you are buying from.
For homes at Waverley Central, the International Construction Warranties (ICW) applies, while for homes at Fox Valley, Waverley 2, Oughtibridge Mill, and Rother Valley, the Consumer Code for Home Builders governs your purchase.

Consumer Code for Home Builders

The Consumer Code for Home Builders was developed to ensure that the home-buying process is fair, transparent, and straightforward. It outlines the service levels you can expect from us as your builder and ensures you understand your rights both before and after moving in.

If you are dissatisfied with how we’ve handled your complaint, you have the option to refer the issue to your Home Warranty Provider. If necessary, they may escalate the matter to the Consumer Code for Home Builders, which operates an Independent Dispute Resolution Scheme (IDRS). This independent process considers the evidence provided by both parties and makes a final adjudication.

Using the formal complaints process or the IDRS will not affect your legal rights.
