‘Sky House’ is derived from the houses unique roof gardens and expansive glazing creating homes that are bright, airy and spacious with unrivalled views from every level.
Based on the back-to-back housing concept created by award-winning Architects CODA (as seen on the BBC News); ‘Sky House’ aims to create sensitively compact communities that are centred around a pocket park with a series of open spaces for the residents to use.
Each house has a small front garden for a natter with your neighbour (over a cup of Yorkshire tea of course); a first-floor balcony (for a G&T) and second-floor roof garden for more private entertaining (and the odd BBQ). The developments also have gated home zone parking courts and a pocket all-weather play space to ensure your children’s health and wellbeing. Ball games are strictly encouraged!
Our design also takes reference from the regions industrial past with the saw-toothed roofs in a sensitive contemporary style further echoing the more recent contemporary commercial developments in the region.

The interiors of the houses will all be designed by CODA and are designed to create a calm and minimalist feel that is both robust and contemporary with full height windows and doors and of course the amazing roof garden.
The houses all include ample storage space, optional fitted wardrobes, open plan living, two beds, two en-suites and fabulous kitchens – the minimum floor area is over 840ft sq of living space which means these houses are above the national average for starter homes.
The high gloss, high tech, minimalist white and grey interiors will set new levels of design and specification for the lucky purchasers!
The developments are eco-friendly and it is anticipated that this will significantly reduce the energy bills for the developments further enhancing the living environment for the owners- highly insulated, low E appliances and of course the compact design means heat loss will be minimized creating houses with lower than average monthly running costs*.
*A separate energy calculation can be provided upon request.
