Demolition of the site, formerly home to the Stokes Tiles warehouse, is set to begin within the next month.

Construction will soon follow, delivering 60 Sky-House properties, including 28 two-bedroom duplex homes and 32 one-bedroom apartments, alongside vibrant start-up commercial spaces.

Our innovative take on the Victorian back-to-back and terraced house has been designed by the talented team at Sheffield’s CODA Studio. These homes will feature communal gardens, private patios, bike stores, and a car-sharing club.

As always, we are committed to sustainability. Every home will incorporate a fabric-first approach to minimise heat loss, complemented by the latest eco-technologies such as air-source cylinders, heat recovery systems, and PV solar panels.

This is the latest chapter in the Sky-House story, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from Sheffield Council’s planners and estate teams,” said Sky-House Co founder David Cross. “The backing of South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority has also been invaluable in bringing this project to life, and we can’t wait to see our vision of inner-city living take shape.

Our Devonshire Quarter development represents an exciting step forward, continuing the success of our projects at Waverley and Oughtibridge Mill. With more than 600 homes planned across South Yorkshire and the City Region, we are proud to play a key role in Sheffield’s ongoing transformation.
